Delete Your Account

This page describes how users of Scan Budget (published by Scan Budget) can request the permanent deletion of their account and all associated data.

Deletion is permanent. Once your account is deleted, your transactions, line items, and profile cannot be recovered.

How to Request Account Deletion

You have two ways to delete your account:

Option A — Delete directly inside the app

  1. Open Scan Budget and sign in.

    Make sure you are logged in to the account you want to delete.

  2. Go to Profile → Settings

    Tap your avatar or the menu icon in the top-right corner, then choose Settings.

  3. Tap "Delete Account"

    Scroll to the bottom of the Settings screen and tap Delete Account.

  4. Confirm deletion

    Read the confirmation prompt and tap Yes, delete my account. Deletion begins immediately.

Option B — Submit a deletion request by email

  1. Send an email to support@scanbudget.com.ua

    Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request.

  2. Include your registered email address

    We need it to locate and delete the correct account.

  3. Wait for confirmation

    We will process your request within 7 business days and send a confirmation once deletion is complete.

What Data Is Deleted and What Is Retained

The table below outlines exactly what happens to each category of data when an account is deleted.

Email OTP / verification codes Deleted Deleted immediately upon request
Anonymized, aggregated analytics Retained Retained indefinitely — contains no personal identifiers
Financial / legal records (if applicable) Retained Retained for up to 7 years as required by applicable law
